Data Collection

The Fit For Work Team collects data from all the services it provides and is data rich. To ensure robust evaluation and quality, we use a variety of validated questionnaires to collect data, alongside questionnaires created by the Team themselves. We often collect data which is additional to that prescribed by the funder in order to inform our thinking or test hypothesis etc .The data is collected and inputted electronically into one system and multiple types of analysis is carried out. All personal client data is security protected and data presented or supplied externally is done in an anonymised form.

The data is used to :-

  • inform the organisation strategy and thinking  
  • identify area of need
  • refine care pathways
  • identify trends and behaviour
  • identify areas of research  
  • Share learning outcomes

Examples of work carried out include examining the change in to clients health status (EQ-5D) between entry and discharge from the service. This helps us evaluate service impact.
